Get answers to common questions about Lip Blush.
Most Lip Blush results last between twelve and twenty-four months, influenced by skin type, sun exposure, and skincare. Oily skin or frequent exfoliation fades pigment faster. Many clients schedule a touch-up within twelve months to refresh color and shape.
Clients experience mild discomfort rather than severe pain. We apply a topical numbing cream before and during the procedure to minimize sensation. Numbing makes the treatment tolerable for most; brief soreness or tenderness may occur after.
Initial healing takes about seven to fourteen days: lips appear darker, may scab lightly, then flake as surface pigment settles. Avoid picking, excessive moisture, and sun exposure. Full color softens and stabilizes over four to six weeks.
Yes — Lip Blush can improve symmetry and enhance thin borders through careful pigment placement and shading. Results are subtle and tailored to your features. A consultation determines realistic outcomes and personalized design.
Certain conditions exclude or delay Lip Blush: pregnancy, breastfeeding, active cold sores, uncontrolled diabetes, blood clotting disorders, recent chemical peels or retinoid use, and some medications. We complete a medical consultation and may request physician clearance if needed.
Shade selection happens during consultation, considering skin tone, natural lip color, and desired intensity. We offer custom blends and test swatches to preview results. Conservative tones age well; you can intensify color at a follow-up if desired.
